Dato’ Abdul Majid Bin Ahmad Khan, an experienced business consultant and former diplomat, is the Company Chairman of IBDC Asia Sdn Bhd. Dato’Abdul Majid was the former Malaysia Ambassador to the Peoples’ Republic of China based in Beijing for 7 years until his retirement in 2004. He has also served as senior diplomat and ambassador of Malaysia to Nigeria, Cambodia, Vietnam and the United States of America.

Dato’ Abdul Majid is currently the non-executive director to a publicly listed company and several private companies in Malaysia. He is also a non-executive director of OSK Holdings Berhad and Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad at the present.

He is also the current President of the Malaysia-China Friendship Society and an Executive Council Member of Malayisa-China Business Council.

Mr. Ler Leong Keh, a Certified Public Accountant, is the founder and the Managing Director of IBDC Asia Sdn Bhd since 2003. He was the Executive Director and later promoted to the Managing Director of a public listed company in Malaysia from 1998 to 2003 when he left to set up IBDC Asia Sdn Bhd.

He has more than 20 years of experience in various fields relating to his profession as a certified public accountant and corporate adviser. He also holds a post-graduate MBA degree in Finance (with Distinction) from the University of Hull, United Kingdom and a professional member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia.

He worked in Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) Kuala Lumpur and London offices for more than 10 years and has conducted assignments out of Singapore, Perth and other offices. He has gained exposure to local and multinational clients in manufacturing, mining, financial services, trading, services, ICT and plantations industries (including the two largest plantation groups listed in Bursa Malaysia). He also has many years’ experience in the listing and fundraising exercises of growing companies, both in the profession and in the commercial sector.

Mr. Yeoh obtained his training in accountancy in Spicer and Pegler (now Deloitte), Chartered Accountants, London, United Kingdom from 1974 to 1978. He is now a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He later obtained a Master degree in Business Administration (General Management) from University Putra Malaysia in 1997.

Mr. Yeoh joined Harrisons Trading (Peninsular) Sdn. Bhd. (“HTP”) in 1980 as an Internal Auditor and was promoted as the Director of Finance in August 1990. In November 1997, he was appointed as the Managing Director until he retired in 2006. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harrisons Holdings Bhd listed on Bursa Malaysia.

He is currently an Independent Director of Weida (M) Berhad and Chairman of its Audit Committee. Mr. Yeoh is also an Independent Director and Chairman of Audit Committee of Voir Holdings Berhad. Presently, he is also the Managing Director of BPI CORPTALL CONSULTING - a business management consulting firm which he founded in 2006. As a consultant, he specializes in business process improvements and advisory and assurance services.

Mr Yeoh is appointed as the Executive Director of IBDC Asia Sdn. Bhd. overseeing internal audit and consulting assignments in several departments.

Yee Xian is a Certified Public Accountant of Australia and also a Certified Financial Planner. She has over 8 years of experience in audit. Prior to joining IBDC Asia, Yee Xian was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Penang and KPMG, Singapore.

In her experience as both an internal and external auditor in the Big 4 firm, she has audited both listed and multinational companies across logistics, manufacturing, retail and hospitality industries. Aside from audit, she was also involved in other advisory engagements including controls review, contract compliance; control self-assessment and process improvement. She has led a team reviewing the existing controls, developed policies and operational manuals and performs gap analysis on the business processes benchmarking against the industry best practice.

She is currently the Associate Director in charge of IBDC’s Asia Penang office.

Founder and Director of IBDC London

IBDC in London is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Strategic Global Investments Plc, a company specialising in providing pre-IPO finance to companies planning to list on London’s Alternative Investment Market - AIM.

IBDC London is operated from the Jeffreys Henry offices where Chief Executive Malcolm Coleman was, until 2003, the managing partner. He was also closely involved in the establishment and development of Jeffreys Henry International – JHI, an association of independent firms of business advisers which now has over 140 offices in 54 countries worldwide.

IBDC's worldwide network gives access to local intelligence which is invaluable when investigating the bona fides and reputation of businesses operated in jurisdictions where customs and conduct of business are foreign. The “old boy network” is more meaningful than a bank reference!

Nelson began his career as a Graduate Trainee in Credit department, Public Bank Bhd and was promoted to Branch Manager at the age of 29. He served in Public Bank as a Branch Manager for 5 years and subsequently headhunted by another reputable bank as Senior Manager.

Having served in various Management position including Head of Business Lending unit, he is skilled and experience in business and corporate lending. His latest position held is in business lending approval with one of the top leading bank in Malaysia.
